Use of music… cut between shots.
Use of close up shot, cross shot, poor zooming not smooth. Should have dollied instead.
Effect of double screen, not well exercised. The canting of the camera is not good. Camera is not steady, shaky scene with no particular effect. Choice of sound effects in this scene are poor. Gives off a comical nature, which in line with the story line did not seem like the intention.
Light imbalanced between scenes…. Some scenes are visibly much brighter than others and it does not seem to be serving a particular purpose.
Characterization of Jo as a gigolo is heightened. Elsie’s come off as a drama queen when she has a confrontation with Jo’s most recent relation. Her reaction border quite close to melodrama. Not good.
