Tahidi High critic - Hazel

the first scene opens with some from four boys were talking of how the had spent their holidays. fredy mentions of how he had gone to upcountry and had fun.

at some point they star talking about premarital sex and they all gang up aganist Melvin who had apparently made Stella their classmate pregnant some time back.

omosh is then called by miss morgan and she hands him a letter to give to fredy. omosh then goes back to work and reads it. he is shocked and when Ratai asks him what they will do about the matter omosh asks him to let the matter lay low and pretend that they do not know anything about it.

the letter is then delivered to fredy during class time by omosh. after class fredy reads the letter and faints. tanya reads it too and hides the letter to ovoid the matter spreading. by lunch time the news is all over school and as much as tanya tries to protect the letter from being read she is forced to remove it and hand it to the class.

everyone is shocked and fredy does not attend class that afternoon. he goes to the field and sits alone. omosh and ratai joi him later and fredy borrows omosh's phone so that he could talk to hi cousin. his cousin talks to him and fredy confirms that the girl he met in ucountry was really pregnant.

he does not know what to do. as he is walking around the school in the late afternoon, Omosh hand fredy the phone and frdy is told that the whole isue was a lie. he is happy and even hugs omosh. he runs away after handing the phone to omosh who was a t that time facing miss morgan. miss morgan demnds to know what was going on.

the stroy is well thought off. the audience has sympathized with fredy all along only to find out that the whole isssue was a lie.

thecamera movements and angles were well used. the lighting and sound was also perfectly used.
